What is a Fixed Type Exproof Industrial Gas Detector? Where is it used?
Fixed type gas detectors are non-portable security devices installed at a fixed point. They detect the gas reaching the sensor by diffusion and provide information with outputs such as digital relays and 4-20mA analog signals. The momentary information feed can be monitored on the control panel to which they will be connected, and if they are connected to devices such as alarms / sirens, they can enable these devices to be activated by gas detection.
Exproof devices, define devices suitable for use in potentially explosive environments where flammable-explosive gases are frequently present. Such devices are protected by various methods and are manufactured in such a way that they do not interact with the flammable gas in the environment or do not trigger fire/explosion.
